La Sabranenque team
Henri Gignoux, "Ginou"
Director of La Sabranenque International Center, co-founder of the association, has a French national degree in direction of group projects. He has obtained several French National awards and medals for his long dedication, of 40 years, to the preservation of French heritage. Ginou will work with the participants on the various work projects, offering his expertise while training the volunteers in the traditional building techniques.
Marcel Ghiringhelli
For many years Marcel has been present and working at La Sabranenque. The volunteers will have the opportunity to work with him either in the kitchen, or on the work site. Here one will discover the comedian that he is. Marcel speaks French, which will allow the volunteers to improve their French if needed.
Pascal Parres
Project technician. Diploma of stone cutter, Pascal has eleven years of experience as a project leader at La Sabranenque. He speaks English properly and will work with the volunteers on the work site, guiding the participants while they discover the various stone techniques. During the month of May and October Pascal will also accompany the volunteers on the visits and hikes offered. Pascal will be one of the staff members that welcome the arrival of the volunteers at the train station.
Sarah Grant
Project technician, former volunteer, Sarah has worked for the association for six years. Scottish origins, but has lived in the United States for a long time, giving her dual nationality. She speaks English and French fluently. She will work and teach the volunteers the restoration techniques while on the work site. Sarah will also accompany the groups, in May and October, on the various planned visits or hikes. She will also welcome the arrival of the volunteers at the train station.
Magali Guyot
Cook at La Sabranenque for the second time, however knows the association very well. Magali will concoct the meals, with Marcel’s help and the help of two volunteers from June through September. She understands English if it is spoken slowly and well articulated. She is happy to discover new culinary terms in English, in return the participants that wish to learn some French culinary terms, along with the names of the fruits and vegetables used in preparing the meals, will have the opportunity to do so with Magali.
