These one-week sessions combine participation in the volunteer projects, with visits that offer a discovery of the region of Provence - its towns, monuments and countryside.

Volunteer work on historic sites fills the weekday mornings, while three afternoons a week are spent on outings. For example, an afternoon might be spent first at the pretty town of Uzes, culminating with a visit of the Pont du Gard, spectacular Roman aqueduct.

Another half-day might take participants to the town of Orange and its picturesque market, or to the walled city of Avignon and 14th century Palace of the Popes.
