Volunteers enter immediately into ongoing La Sabranenque projects. Work done can vary depending on projects under way, but the basis of all is stone masonry. Other techniques used can include any stage of historic restoration, from clearing of rubble to roof-tiling. In between, there are: stone-cutting, flooring with tiles or wood, interior plastering, arch and vault construction, or path paving, dry-stone walling, etc.

Traditional techniques are learned on-the-job from experienced technicians, and within a few days, volunteers are able to see the results of their efforts, an extremely satisfying experience.
